We did extensive primary and secondary research to ensure we had a strong understanding of what it was like to live with dementia but also how to care for someone living with dementia.
What is Dementia
Each person's experience of dementia is different and it affects all aspects of their everyday life. As the disease progresses the mind begins to lose the ability to remember, communicate and carry out simple tasks. Living with dementia, many people can lose a sense of their independence and it can be frustrating and a difficult time for them and their carer.
